Our Mercari Presence

Mercari is a fantastic online sales platform, akin to eBay but without the auction feature. Originating in Japan, Mercari expanded to the United States in 2014. While it may not have the user base or recognition of eBay, it remains a great marketplace to showcase your items.

Like eBay, new Mercari users often struggle to gain traction. With over 23 million monthly active users, buyers have plenty of options, making it challenging for new sellers to stand out. On Mercari, returns are only allowed for three days after USPS confirms delivery and only if something was inaccurately described. Additionally, buyers handle transaction and processing fees, which means they are extra cautious when choosing sellers. As a new seller with zero feedback and only a few items, it's tough to compete with reputable sellers who have more sales and higher ratings.

Despite being relatively new to Mercari, we’ve successfully attracted new buyers and repeat customers. We’ve sold everything from Christmas ornaments to desk lamps, music memorabilia to sports cards, sneakers to posters, clothing to toys, and everything in between. We maintain a consistent 5-star rating and have earned the three coveted Mercari badges: "Reliable," "Fast Responder," and "Quick Shipper." These badges enhance our reputation and visibility, building trust with the Mercari buyer pool.
